AstroAdviser ProLesson 1
What is a Kundli?
A Kundli (birth chart) is a map of the sky at the exact moment and place you were born.
It has 12 houses. Each house shows one area of life, such as self, home, partner or career.
The sign rising in the east at your birth is your Lagna. It decides which sign sits in the 1st house, so birth time matters: the Lagna changes about every two hours.
The sign the Moon was in is your Rashi (Moon sign), and the star it sat in is your Nakshatra.
Vedic astrology uses the sidereal zodiac. AstroAdviser Pro uses the Lahiri ayanamsa, the Indian standard.
